BISHMUN is a student-led Model United Nations conference hosted by the British international School of Houston. It first began in 2022 and will host its fifth conference in 2025 from November 7th to the 8th. Drawing inspiration from other Model United Nations conferences, BISHMUN seeks to promote collaboration, inclusivity, and inspire the next generation of problem-solvers by addressing some of the most pressing challenges facing people from around the world.

Starting off as a small, internal conference, BISHMUN has grown year after year attracting students from across the Houston area. It has become an integral part of the British International School of Houston’s community, made possible by the school-wide efforts that help make the conference a reality.
